The guide below will walk you through connecting to the school's WiFi network
(Please note: at home you'll need to use your home's WiFi network instead of WiFi Connect)
Forget "Pittwater" network
Step 1: Click the Apple Logo and Go to ‘System Preferences’ - Network
Step 2: Click on ‘Advanced’
Step 3: Select ‘Pittwater’ Wi-Fi and delete it. Press OK
click ‘Apply’
Onboarding your device to the school's network
Step 4: Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi. (If you are in school, connect to ‘Wi-Fi Connect’ network)
Open the link: https://onboard.tphs.nsw.edu.au
Agree and click ‘Start’
Step 5: Choose ‘Staff & Students’
Step 6: Sign-in with your school email and password if asked.
Step 7: Please provide the name for your device, can be anything.
Step 8: Click on ‘Profile for Mac OS’. It will download the profile file.
Step 9: Choose to keep the file
Step 10: Open the downloaded file.
For MacOS version prior to Big Sur (10.15.x and below).
Enter your computer username and password if prompted. (Please note: this is your laptop's password not the school's one)
For MacOS Big Sur and Monterey
Step 12: Click the Apple Logo and Go to - ‘System Preferences’ - Profiles
Step 13: Click on ‘Install’ Button and follow the steps
The profile "Student Device Configuration" is installed.
If you used school’s ‘Wi-Fi Connect’ for setup, please follow this step.
Click the Apple Logo and Go to ‘System Preferences’ - Network
Step 15: Click on ‘Advanced’
Click "-" to remove WiFi Connect network from the list of preferred networks, then click "OK":
click ‘Apply’
Connecting to "Pittwater" network in the school
Once the onboarding is complete, connect to ‘Pittwater’ Wi-Fi, your device should connect without asking username and password.
In some cases
Follow the steps below if asked only
A prompt message will appear after connecting to "Pittwater" network in the school, please click your email address. (Account name can be left empty)
Click ‘OK’ and the setup is complete.

Please check the internet connection by opening any website. If you are unable to connect to the internet, contact IT.
